Tyesdale Actuaries & Consultants is a Cape Town based consultancy, founded in 2018 and headed up by Nicola Jandrell. Nicola obtained her Master of Commerce in Mathematical Statistics in 2007 at the University of the Free State and qualified as an Actuary in 2009. Nicola currently specialises in long-term insurance, data analysis, financial modeling and cell captive strategies In her role as Managing Director, it affords her the opportunity to not only consult for her own clients but to also mentor and place young newly qualified actuaries in positions best suited to them.
Avneeka Rampurtab is a BSc Mathematical Sciences Graduate from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Avneeka has a keen interest in problem solving, applying her skills to a variety of client projects at Tyesdale. With a close attention to detail, Avneeka is well placed to assist clients with pricing, product development and data analytics.
With a degree in actuarial science and mathematical statistics from the University of Witwatersrand, Tokelo Mokoaledi has a genuine love for actuarial work and enjoys using their skills to provide effective solutions to clients. His approach is grounded in the belief that by looking at problems through an actuarial lens, solutions are more likely to be effective and long-lasting.
Bezeng Kum is an actuarial consultant with experience in the life insurance industry. In his current role, he assists with actuarial valuations, pricing, product development and other life insurance projects for our clients. He holds a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of the Free State and has great interest building actuarial models, conducting data analysis and assisting clients in making informed decisions to manage their risk.
